Air-entraining admixtures

CONPLAST AE 383

This air entraining admixture is a product that allows the incorporation of the air bubbles in a small, controlled quantity uniform distributed during the mixing which also remains after the concrete’s hardening. This fact creates a fine porosity favorable to the impermeability and frost resistance of the concrete.

Advantages

  • The air-bubbles entrained contribute to a stable, cohesive mixture which reduces the risk of concrete segregation and flowing;
  • Increases the durability and the resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and to salts used to the ice melting,
  • Used to concrete preparation for roads, bridge decks, airport runways and parking.
  • By using Conplast AE 383, concrete resistant to exposure classes XF1, XF2, XF3, XF4 can be produced.
